Consulting firm Watson Wyatt has a report out, "Extreme Risks," that lists 15 investment risks, including "the end of capitalism," which, "while very unlikely, would impact economic growth and asset returns, should they occur."
Personally, as I've suggested in When Giants Fall, I believe the odds of most, if not all, of these developments coming true within the next decade or so -- with the exception, perhaps, of climate change -- are much higher than the authors of the report -- and most people, for that matter -- realize.
