Generally speaking, I tend to focus on the latest news and commentary here at When Giants Fall (and at Financial Armageddon, for that matter).
However, when I came across the following black-and-white graphics from an October 2008 article in NewScientist, "Special Report: The Facts About Overconsumption," I thought they were well worth the look back in time.
Call me a cynic, but when I see charts like these (think: the bubbles in the Nasdaq Composite index, housing, etc.) my first thought is: "This is going to end badly."
